But got duped along the line which left me no choice than to sell my car and some house appliances so as to travel out of the country in search for greener pastures. Along the line I got duped too by agents. I had no choice but to send my pregnant wife and son to stay with my mother in-law in Delta State, while I relocated from PH to Lagos since the house we lived in was already expired by two years.

Nathaniel Bassey Pens Touching Message About Billy Graham’s Death

In the last 24 hours or so, News Media, social media and every other forms of Media have been awash with stories, captions and testimonies about this ONE LIFE. Billy Graham. Even secular News Media have spoken in such a honorable manner about this Man of God. As I read and listen closely, I’m yet to see anything that speaks about his material possessions. He hasn’t dominated global headlines because of riches and material wealth. But instead the whole of creation is standing because of the JESUS He preached so unmistakably and unambiguously, and the accompanying Life He lived. I read of Don Moen’s testimony whose Father in law was saved due to Billy’s Radio Broadcast in the 1950s. And because of that one experience changed the whole course of life of that family. One of whom is Don’s Wife. Imagine the number of Pastors saved, the Ministries Born, and the multitudes eternally saved because one man preached and lived JESUS.

I did a search on google this morning and found out the name BILLY GRAHAM was the most trending name in the World in 24 hours. Something many seek after. But something another man achieved even without seeking. But rather by seeking Christ’s kingdom and righteousness. And not just that – in the past 24 hours, there’s been so much mention of the name JESUS on secular news media and on social media because of Evangelist Graham. As I read all of these, it becomes clear what God intends our lives to be. One that dispenses the GLORY OF GOD. Paul puts it this way…. “But thank God! He has made us his captives and continues to lead us along in Christ’s triumphal procession. Now he uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭2:14‬ ‭NLT‬‬.

As the body of Christ world over celebrates the transition of one of her generals, this occasion leaves me with some pertinent questions. What am I preaching? And How am I living? Am I preaching and living Christ? What fragrance is my life exuding? And what fragrance would it leave behind?

It is true what Jesus said, that a man’s life does not consist of the things that He owns.

And I dare to add, “but rather, about the LIVES He touched.” WHAT A LIFE !
BILLY GRAHAM!

New post: How Evangelist Nick Vujicic Dealt With “Deep Dark Valley” In 2011

Serbian-Australian Christian Evangelist and Motivational Speaker, Nick Vujicic  reveals how he once had a battle with a special kind of depression which he called “deep dark valley”.

Vujicic spoke with Tim Clinton, president of the American Association of Christian Counselors, during a show where he opened up about what Clinton called the “merciless bullying” and “deep depression” he faced as a child.

The evangelist said he’s “definitely not the biggest victim of bullying in the world,” but still needs the ‘beautiful Christian home’ that his parents in Australia provided to act as a refuge from what he was experiencing at school.

While sharing his view on this present generation he said these days,”the saddest moments of my life are seeing people who don’t see their value, who don’t see their potential, who believe the lies that they are ugly, or that they are a failure, or that they’ll never become someone that they are happy with..

“As strong as I am in my faith and talking to presidents about God, there are times when Nick has his ups and downs,” Nick shared

“I think it was 2011 where I went through a very deep dark valley for about two to three months, My flesh didn’t feel like God was there,” he said, noting that what he had to do was quote Scripture every hour.

“Faith comes by hearing of the Word. Keep going, one day at a time,” he advised others going through similar difficulties.

New:“Why We Can’t Deliver On Our Promises” – Osinbajo

“Why We Can’t Deliver On Our Promises” – Osinbajo

The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, yesterday, blamed government’s inability to deliver on its promises on socio-political inequality, weak justice system, an absence of rule of law and lack of state capacity to maintain law and order.

He also expressed frustrations at the inability of anti-graft agencies to secure convictions for the many suspects brought before the courts for corruption due to the manipulative tendencies of the elite class. Osinbajo spoke as Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Fr. Bishop Mathew Hassan Kukah, said the problems plaguing the nation’s democracy will not disappear with the removal of President Muhammadu Buhari from office.

The duo made their separate remarks at a public lecture organized by The Kukah Centre in Abuja yesterday, with the theme: “How to make Democracy Work for Africa.” Osinbajo, who noted that people expected those charged with governance to deliver on their promises, including delivering social goods, ensuring that the growing youth population got jobs, ensuring the rule of law and security, lamented that despite several suspects charged with corruption by anti-graft agencies in the country, convictions are yet to be secured.

According to him, convictions have not been achieved due to the manipulation of suspects who are mainly elites. Osinbajo said people could be put on trial but the trials could go on forever because the system enables people to employ diverse legal tactics to delay conviction.
Accordingly, he said the elite preferred the status quo which set the lowest bar for political advancement, being “identity politics” of where one comes from or which religion one belongs.

He said the elite follow the path of such division to analyze real development issues, thus diminishing the real issues concerning the people such as good governance, job creation, poverty alleviation, peace, and security.
The African problem The Vice President said: “That is the Africa story; democracy, yes; election yes. These are issues that remain very prominent everywhere in Africa. “It is often threatened because we simply have not invested enough in the institutions that make this possible. So, ensuring security, problems of weak policing are some of the issues that we experience. Read More »

*MARRIED BUT NO SEX – Part 2

*A Story Written By Ayodele Adeoye

‘Would I supervise your spiritual life and also supervise your sexual life? Sexuality in marriage does not contaminate spirituality. Bro Solo why have you not touched your wife? I am your pastor and I have been sleeping with my wife for more than 20 years now. Prayer cannot replace sex in marriage. You are now married and licensed to have sex. Making love to your wife is no more a sin.’

‘I know it is possible you are a virgin but today virginity is no longer profitable. If you don’t know how to do it, I am here to teach you. You can ask me any question on sex. Sis Rose is now yours and by my authority, her parent’s authority and the authority of heaven you can kiss her, romance her and sleep with her as many times as is convenient for both of you. The way you rush your first meal after a long chain fasting is the same way I expect you to rush your wife. If there’s an issue, you can confide in me.’

‘Thank you, addy, we shall do the needful as you have counselled’, Bro Solo said. After seeing the Pastor off to the other side of the road where his car was parked, the Pastor turned to the couple and said, ‘Sis Rose ensure you call me later to let me know how everything goes. Bye! Bye!’ Read More »

*MARRIED BUT NO SEX – Part 1

A Story Written By Ayodele Adeoye*

She came into the bedroom with her transparent nightgown wearing a romantic perfume. Nobody was left at the house after a long day of felicitations and congratulations on the success of their wedding. Who would have thought Sis Rose could get married after several attempts failed at the altar of disappointment and betrayal.

Sis Rose had been into 8 relationships that never led to marriage. Getting suitors was never her problem but getting to the aisle was never realistic until she met Bro Solo. Bro Solo was a well-known brother in the choir and the dream husband of every lady as he seemed to be an example of a true Christian.

Bro Femi dated her for 18 months and jilted her because she refused him sex before marriage. Bro Ifeanyi left her after a year of relationship when he went for National Youth Service Corps at Enugu where he found Sis Chinyere. Bro Austin never gave any reason for quitting their relationship of 4 months. The history of Sis Rose’s relationship journey was heartbreaking as she had dated 8 guys in 14 years.

‘Bro Solo is going to leave like others, why put in the remaining pieces of my heart?’, she thought. On her traditional wedding, she fainted twice for unbelief and shock that Bro Solo did not leave like other brothers.  It was a well-celebrated and well-attended wedding. Members of the choir and ushering team added color to the day as one of their own were the celebrants of the day.

The joy and excitement that Sis Rose was leaving singles fellowship of the church at 43 made the pastor overjoyed, so much that he made Sis Rose’s wedding one of the best since the inception of the church. Family and friends were not left out as they all created scenes to add colour to the day.

Family and friends stayed back and never wanted to leave them alone even at the late hour of the night. Sis Rose had jokingly told her friends to leave to allow them start their honeymoon and everyone laughed. ‘Madam are you driving us?’ And they laughed again. In all these Bro Solo was indifferent as to whether they left or not. Read More »

“It Is An Insult To Say I Am Worth $150 Million — Bishop David Oyedepo

The General Overseer of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo had mentioned in a statement that he considers it an insult that people say he is worth just a paltry $150million.

In a video released by the Winners Chapel London has said in a message “The secrets of prosperity”, the man of God stated that he is worth much more than that. In fact, $150million is just a small amount of money.

Bishop David Oyedepo, in his statement, while quoting the bible from the book of Philippians 4:19, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” says it is a total insult for some people to have rated him so low.

Forbes named Bishop Oyedepo as the Richest pastor in the world with a net worth of $150 million.. According to Forbes :

Coming in as a supposed host of the Holy Ghost with the most, Bishop David Oyedepo heads the single largest church in the world, Winners’ Chapel, which seats 50,000. As one of the main founders of the Nigerian Christian Charismatic movement, he also exerts control over churches in 45 African nations, as well as several in Dubai, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Having been mentored by Adeboye, it is quite clear he took the formula of church expansion up a notch.

Alongside churches, there has also been active outreach within his native continent where his ministry has aided in the development of hospitals, schools, and maternity homes.

As to be expected with such successes, two of his sons are following in his footsteps by heading up both the London and South African Winners’ Chapel divisions.

New:Tips to master WhatsApp in 2018

Tips to master WhatsApp in 2018

BY NACHO REQUENA MOLINA

This is How you Delete WhatsApp Messages Forever

WhatsApp is the leading messaging app worldwide, boasting more than 1.5 billion daily users. According to the stats, this number is expected to surpass 2 billion this year, i.e., one in every three people on the planet will have this popular communication tool.

In spite of these incredible figures, very few know how to make the most of this app, so we’ll give you four tips to master WhatsApp in 2018.

WHATSAPP MESSENGER

DOWNLOAD WHATSAPP

Top tips for WhatsApp

1. Install the web version

It’s one of the great unknown features, and it works better every day (without major issues): the web version. WhatsApp implemented its web tool a few years ago so that you can use the app from your PC.

8

If you use WhatsApp as a work tool, this installable version (also executable from your browser) is an essential feature, since you’ll avoid picking up your cell phone every two seconds. From the tool, we can access all groups and people, as well as user statuses. Also, you can start new conversations, since our cell phone contacts are available from this tool (which is wonderful).

2. Disable automatic downloads

This is our most important tip every time we talk about WhatsApp: disable automatic downloads for the app. The messaging service has all downloads enabled by default, meaning images, videos, and audio files will be downloaded to your device without your knowledge.

To disable automatic downloads, just go to “Settings” and click on “Data and storage.”Here you can remove any features you don’t like. Our advice is to disable the general setting straightaway, i.e., so nothing is downloaded. Your smartphone’s memory (and performance) will thank you.

3. Use WhatsApp to send files

To use this feature in all its glory, you must have the web tool that we mentioned in the first point. Once you install it (or open it from the browser), it’s as easy as using WhatsApp’s “send” feature to share files.

After several updates, the messaging service offers the possibility of sending all types of files and up to large sizes. We can assure you (from experience) that it’s a great way to send documents quickly and easily.

4. Configure your privacy

Don’t want somebody to know you’ve read their messages? Remember that WhatsApp has an important feature for avoiding the famous blue tick, i.e., so others don’t know if you’ve read their messages.

To enable this privacy feature, just click on “Settings,” go to “Privacy” and disable “Read receipts.” Of course, there’s one downside: if you get rid of this option, remember that it also works in reverse (you won’t know if somebody has read your messages either).
