Testimony: “My Journey Back To Christianity” – Tolu Adesina

Testimony: “My Journey Back To Christianity” – Tolu Adesina

Former Alyhills Records artiste, songwriter, and producer, Tolulope Abraham Adesina who recently stopped singing secular songs have just opened up on how the journey back to Christ began. According to the House On The Rock chorister, several people have met him since he succeeded at the MTN Project Fame to continue doing gospel, but he never heeded.

As God will have it, veteran singer and producer, Cobhams Asuquo met with him and reminded him that he never fit in in the secular world unless he returns to doing gospel, he may not blow. These words got him restless until December 31st, 2017, the day he took that difficult decision and he became saved by grace.

However, he promised to reveal more subsequently.

Tolu wrote;

” God had sent a lot of people my way to try to get my attention….but I must tell you that the pursuit of family members, money and sex can blind a young man…the worst part is….WHEN YOU’RE SO BLIND TO THINK THAT IN THE MIDST OF ALL THAT YOU’RE STILL RIGHT WITH GOD (BECAUSE YOU DRESS UP AND GO TO CHURCH MOST SUNDAYS) that’s when the devil has done a proper number on you…anyways God sent someone to me one day that made me stop and think deeply…I was a guest judge for project fame preliminarily auditions alongside other great people like @igesings @joypanam etc..while we were having breakfast @cobhamsasuquo walked in and I naturally went to say hi…he shook my hand and I said “it’s Tolu sir” and he was like “oh Tolu how are you and how is @donjazzy…I have something to tell you…I know you’re doing well but God showed me that you’re meant for more… your specific gift is meant for the kingdom of God…answer God quick or you might struggle…” I WAS LITERALLY BLOWN AWAY BY THAT STATEMENT…I thanked him but I was uneasy all through the auditions..as profound as that incident was….. I didn’t make a turn around right then (BECAUSE THE LUST OF THE WORLD HAD TAKEN A TOLL ON ME AND DECEIVED ME TO THINK I WOULD BE GIVING UP TOO MUCH) it wasn’t until DEC 31 2017 that my life changed when I met one on one with God ( that’s a story for another day ) but my conversation with Cohbams was one of the triggers that led me here… #testimonytuesday #savedbygrace #grace #peace #Jesus #Christ #godchaser #redeemed

American Christian Elder Tried To Get Gandhi To Accept Jesus – Response Letter Sold For $50000

A Christian leader tried to get Indian religious and political leader, Mahatma Gandhi, to accept Jesus in 1926. The response letter written by Gandhi in which he acknowledged Jesus, has been sold for $50,000 (£36,275).

The letter was written to respond to the one sent by Milton Newberry Frantz, a Christian elder in the US at the time, and is dated 6 April 1926.

Frantz had written to Gandhi, a devout Hindu who was by then emerging as a prominent figure in the Indian independence movement, inviting him to read an article the American had written about Christianity.

Gandhi wrote back to Frantz from the Sabarmati ashram, in the western Indian state of Gujarat, praising Jesus but saying he was unable to fully accept the Christian view of him.

According to the Raab Collection, the letter is the only one that has come to market in which Gandhi mentions Jesus

The letter has been in a private collection for decades and is being sold by the Pennsylvania-based Raab Collection, though it would not reveal who has bought it.

The Raab Collection said their ‘research discloses no other letter of Gandhi mentioning Jesus to have ever reached the public market.’

Nathaniel Bassey Pens Touching Message About Billy Graham’s Death

In the last 24 hours or so, News Media, social media and every other forms of Media have been awash with stories, captions and testimonies about this ONE LIFE. Billy Graham. Even secular News Media have spoken in such a honorable manner about this Man of God. As I read and listen closely, I’m yet to see anything that speaks about his material possessions. He hasn’t dominated global headlines because of riches and material wealth. But instead the whole of creation is standing because of the JESUS He preached so unmistakably and unambiguously, and the accompanying Life He lived. I read of Don Moen’s testimony whose Father in law was saved due to Billy’s Radio Broadcast in the 1950s. And because of that one experience changed the whole course of life of that family. One of whom is Don’s Wife. Imagine the number of Pastors saved, the Ministries Born, and the multitudes eternally saved because one man preached and lived JESUS.

I did a search on google this morning and found out the name BILLY GRAHAM was the most trending name in the World in 24 hours. Something many seek after. But something another man achieved even without seeking. But rather by seeking Christ’s kingdom and righteousness. And not just that – in the past 24 hours, there’s been so much mention of the name JESUS on secular news media and on social media because of Evangelist Graham. As I read all of these, it becomes clear what God intends our lives to be. One that dispenses the GLORY OF GOD. Paul puts it this way…. “But thank God! He has made us his captives and continues to lead us along in Christ’s triumphal procession. Now he uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭2:14‬ ‭NLT‬‬.

As the body of Christ world over celebrates the transition of one of her generals, this occasion leaves me with some pertinent questions. What am I preaching? And How am I living? Am I preaching and living Christ? What fragrance is my life exuding? And what fragrance would it leave behind?

It is true what Jesus said, that a man’s life does not consist of the things that He owns.

And I dare to add, “but rather, about the LIVES He touched.” WHAT A LIFE !
BILLY GRAHAM!

New post: How Evangelist Nick Vujicic Dealt With “Deep Dark Valley” In 2011

Serbian-Australian Christian Evangelist and Motivational Speaker, Nick Vujicic  reveals how he once had a battle with a special kind of depression which he called “deep dark valley”.

Vujicic spoke with Tim Clinton, president of the American Association of Christian Counselors, during a show where he opened up about what Clinton called the “merciless bullying” and “deep depression” he faced as a child.

The evangelist said he’s “definitely not the biggest victim of bullying in the world,” but still needs the ‘beautiful Christian home’ that his parents in Australia provided to act as a refuge from what he was experiencing at school.

While sharing his view on this present generation he said these days,”the saddest moments of my life are seeing people who don’t see their value, who don’t see their potential, who believe the lies that they are ugly, or that they are a failure, or that they’ll never become someone that they are happy with..

“As strong as I am in my faith and talking to presidents about God, there are times when Nick has his ups and downs,” Nick shared

“I think it was 2011 where I went through a very deep dark valley for about two to three months, My flesh didn’t feel like God was there,” he said, noting that what he had to do was quote Scripture every hour.

“Faith comes by hearing of the Word. Keep going, one day at a time,” he advised others going through similar difficulties.

New post: Gospel Legend Billy Graham Dies At 99

American Christian Evangelist, Author and an ordained Southern Baptist minister, Billy Graham died Wednesday February 21 at the age of 99.

According to news gathered from close source, the evangelist died very early in the morning at his home in Montreal. His longtime physician arrived minutes later and said, ‘he just wore out,’” Graham spokesperson Mark DeMoss said Wednesday evening.

Billy Graham who has once been diagnosed with Parkinson’s-like symptoms in the 1990s was said to have died peacefully while sleeping.

“It was described by the nurse and his doctor as a very peaceful passing; he was not in any pain,” his doctor revealed.

During his highly successful life time, Graham achieved a reach unlike any other evangelist, serving as a counselor or minister to a dozen U.S. presidents. He preached to an estimated 215 million people in 185 countries around the world during his life, and his message reached millions more as he maintained a near-constant presence on radio, television and the internet.

Story line: *MARRIED BUT NO SEX – Part 1

*MARRIED BUT NO SEX – Part 1

A Story Written By Ayodele Adeoye*

She came into the bedroom with her transparent nightgown wearing a romantic perfume. Nobody was left at the house after a long day of felicitations and congratulations on the success of their wedding. Who would have thought Sis Rose could get married after several attempts failed at the altar of disappointment and betrayal.

Sis Rose had been into 8 relationships that never led to marriage. Getting suitors was never her problem but getting to the aisle was never realistic until she met Bro Solo. Bro Solo was a well-known brother in the choir and the dream husband of every lady as he seemed to be an example of a true Christian.

Bro Femi dated her for 18 months and jilted her because she refused him sex before marriage. Bro Ifeanyi left her after a year of relationship when he went for National Youth Service Corps at Enugu where he found Sis Chinyere. Bro Austin never gave any reason for quitting their relationship of 4 months. The history of Sis Rose’s relationship journey was heartbreaking as she had dated 8 guys in 14 years.

‘Bro Solo is going to leave like others, why put in the remaining pieces of my heart?’, she thought. On her traditional wedding, she fainted twice for unbelief and shock that Bro Solo did not leave like other brothers.  It was a well-celebrated and well-attended wedding. Members of the choir and ushering team added color to the day as one of their own were the celebrants of the day.

The joy and excitement that Sis Rose was leaving singles fellowship of the church at 43 made the pastor overjoyed, so much that he made Sis Rose’s wedding one of the best since the inception of the church. Family and friends were not left out as they all created scenes to add colour to the day.

Family and friends stayed back and never wanted to leave them alone even at the late hour of the night. Sis Rose had jokingly told her friends to leave to allow them start their honeymoon and everyone laughed. ‘Madam are you driving us?’ And they laughed again. In all these Bro Solo was indifferent as to whether they left or not. Read More »
