Monday Motivation – Be Responsible For Yourself

As one who writes majorly about pressing life issues and self-improvement, I have had the privilege of people confiding in me for advice on many things.

In the cause of talking to them, one thing I find very common with most of these people is that they have a way of believing that a certain evil force or spiritual being is responsible for their predicament even when it is glaring that what they are going through is as a result of their own mistakes and negligence.

If you have followed me closely on this platform, then you would have observed that one of the things I have always advised people to do is to quit blaming witches, people or circumstances for the outcome of their lives and begin to take responsibility for themselves.

And even now, if there is anything that I Ugoma Johnson could do for you reading this post right now, it would be to open your eyes to the power that resides in you to make the most of your life leveraging on who God has made you through the finished work of Christ at Calvary.

Am I saying there are no witches? No! All I’m saying is focus on who Christ has made you through His death.

The work of a witch is to stay woke at night or whatever time he chooses to carry out his evil work, but your job is to REST IN CHRIST! REST ABEG.

Remember the scripture that says….

“He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty”. Psalm 91:

Can anyone hold or harm a shadow, talk more of harming that which is under the shadow.

You see, God has given you all that you need and will ever need to live a meaningful life on earth. But I’m afraid you may never get to live life to the fullest if all you do is sit around and play the blame game.

As a believer, you have no business with a spiritual husband, so stop blaming your singlehood on spiritual husband and start working on improving your attitude people.

The challenges you are currently experiencing in business may not be demons coming to attack you, it could just be a result of some wrong business decisions you have made in the past.

That woman your husband is cheating on you with may not have put any love portion in his food, it could be that you have ignorantly nagged your husband into the arm of another woman.

That illness may not be a result of the evil attack, it could just be your body reminding you to pay attention to your diet and hygiene.

Please get that into your head ok.

This post is already getting longer than I thought, but before I finally drop my pen, let me leave you with these words.

No witch is powerful enough to stop you from becoming whom God has made you to be. You can either be your number one with or your number one prophet.

Quit blaming and start being responsible for yourself.

If you keep blaming

Monday Motivation – 5 Things To Quit Doing This Ember Months

Quit the blame game: If there is anything that is very common during ember months, it is the fact that people become more agitated.

While some sit down to complain and blame people for all their unaccomplished goals, others look back to the months and thank God for the little accomplishments they have recorded while also working hard to achieve more.

Whatever be the case, whether you have achieved much, little or nothing at all, the truth is that playing the blame game is the most unwise thing to do.

Most people even go as far as putting blames on witches and demons for their failures.

It doesn’t matter who or what you’re blaming, the truth is, the easiest way to restrain yourself from achieving much is to keep blaming.

Quit being irresponsible: One of the biggest mistakes that most people make is to think that the only way one can be irresponsible is to become a drunkard, prostitute etc.

They don’t understand that anyone who constantly passes the buck or stands on the sideline while attributing his/her responsibility to others is equally as irresponsible.

Understand that no one really owes you anything and start taking responsibility for the outcome of your life.

Whatever result you have recorded so far is as a result of the choices you’ve made and the actions you have taken in the past months.

Why should you point accusing fingers on demons for your poverty when it is clear that you are not prudent with the little resources that God has put in your care.

You blame the old woman in your village for your inability to get married even when you know that your attitude towards people is filthy.

Shouldn’t you rather be thinking of how to become more responsible with resources and also work towards improving your attitude?

Be responsible for yourself.

Quit procrastinating: Before you read on, pause for a while and think about those amazing goals you set for yourself at the beginning of the year.

Have you achieved all, have you started working towards achieving them, or you’re still mopping around and dilly-dallying?

If you are waiting for a perfect condition to start, then I’m afraid to tell you that there will never be anything as such. There is no better time to start than now.

Quit moping for too long: Life is configured in such a way that we cannot always have it our way, sometimes things happen to you and you find yourself becoming moody and gloomy, and before you know it, you’re already moping around endlessly without really doing anything meaningful.

Certain things must have come your way in the cause of the year and it can be quite difficult to move on when these things happen, but you should always strive not to remain down for too long. Get up, dust yourself and keep moving.

Quit holding on to the past: holding on to past wrongs and offenses can be quite a future wrecking experience.

There must have been people who wronged you or caused you some havoc, but you must learn to let go.

Negative feelings can be mentally draining, it saps your energy to move on and keeps your mind in a constant state of obscurity; hence you’re not able to think clearly.

Though it may not be easy to do, however, you’ve got to forgive and let go.

In conclusion:

The year is running out and the worst thing you will do to yourself is to become complacent. Get to work and start doing that which is required to move you to your next level.

This ember month should not be a time when you move from one prayer house to the other chasing after demons that does even know you exist.

Let me tell you, the demons are not more powerful in ember month, just as God does not become less powerful. Focus on what God has accomplished for you on the cross through the finished work of Christ.

You have all it takes to achieve your goals, though the year is almost coming to an end, but if you will do all that I have told you today you will be amazed at how much you will achieve.

God bless you.

Apostle Suleman Says 2019 Election Will Not Hold Unless Nigerians Pray

2019 ElectionApostle Johnson Suleman has prophesied that unless Nigerians pray for the country, the 2019 election will not hold.

The Senior Pastor of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide (OFM), in a chat with journalists in his church, prophesied about the 2019 Election saying:

“Tell Nigerians who wish to see democracy sustained, to pray for our leaders and work for peace; tell the leaders too to pray and be honest with the people they are serving, otherwise, elections may not hold in Nigeria in 2019. That is what God has shown me.”

Apostle Suleman has been credited for many precise prophecies made in years past.

The self-acclaimed ‘Oracle of God’ is the first pastor in Nigeria that prophesied in a December 2013 prophecy, the crowning of former Central Bank of Nigeria’s governor, Alhaji Lamido Sanusi Lamido, as Emir of Kano.

He equally foresaw the death of a serving cabinet member in Nigeria and asked for special prayer during a church service in January 2015.

Likewise, during his ministry’s ‘Fire and Miracle Night’ programme in August 2015, the servant of God foretold the trouble in the last Kogi State governorship election that brought in Governor Yahaya Bello and warned of ‘a death’.

Also, as Edo State prepared for the September 10th 2016 governorship election, Apostle Suleman at a church service said he did not see the election holding on the appointed date.

Subsequently, the INEC shifted the election to September 28 2016, citing security challenges.

“I see presidents being removed in Africa and presidents being installed”, the man of God declared in his 2016 prophecies.

In that declaration, Suleman also asked for vigilance as he said he saw kidnappers entering school, adding that “President Buhari’s health needed serious attention; that America and China would have major crisis.”

The Untold Chronicle Behind Preye Odede’s Wave-Making Single “Oshimiri Atata”

–  “Oshimiri Atata” by Preye Odede chronicles Gospel music minister’s journey perfectly

The ministry of Preye Odede will always remain distinct and cannot be replicated. You have some artiste that only come ones in a generation. The likes of Whitney Houston, Nath King Cole, Michael Jackson, Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, Sinach, Joepraize to name a few… and of course, there is Preye Odede!

Specially anointed for such a time as this, God’s out-poured life embodied in a humble vessel that contrasts the magnitude of gift and anointing that is contained therein, Preye Odede combines aesthetics with anointing and the results are life transforming songs that have left their indelible marks in the sands of this generation, spiraling into undeniable testimonies, ricocheting all over the world!

When Preye Odede put out his debut album “My Script” in 2012, “Ebezina” stood out and infiltrated the core of Gospel Music till date. Speaking with Cool FM OAP, Jibike in 2014, he said he wrote “Ebezina” in the “middle of serious hardship. At a point where we were thrown out of our house and rendered homeless… in 2009.”

“Bulie” was a follow up on the success of “Ebezina”. The video has garnered over 2 million views on Youtube – Preye’s channel alone. He featured a remix of the single in his 2017 sophomore album titled“Ready” and collaborated with UK based Ghanaian Gospel artiste, the critically acclaimed Sonnie Badu of“Baba” fame.

“I Am Real” shot by video director Patrick Elis in the USA presented Preye Odede in new light in terms of his brand. As the distinctive nature of his ministry attained zenith height, it couldn’t be business as usual… literally. Preye’s releases, presentations, PR strategies and overall outlook took a new turn as well!

He announced his sophomore album with the rapturous worship/supplication song with the title“Oshimiri Atata (River that never Runs Dry)”. The song which critics have said, rivals the effort of “Ebezina”, although there are similarities speckled all through both songs, received wide acceptance within and outside the country, so much that when the “Ready” album finally dropped, it’s still one of the songs that stood out. He recently ministered the single in COZA, Abuja at Voltage Warship with Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo and the atmosphere was electric! Pastor Fatoyinbo described the ministration as “an amazing time of worship!”

Taking a look at the transformation Preye Odede’s life and ministry has experienced – before and after the debut album “My Script”.  The amazing grace that came to his rescue did not transform his life and left him at the point but he has gone from grace to grace ever since. One will agree that the only appropriate outburst is “Oshimiri Atata (River that never Runs Dry).”

Talking about the journey so far and the future expectations, Preye Odede said:

“I don’t look like my past because of God’s grace and mercy … At times when you are down and weary, draw strength from God, who is the fountain that never runs dry and with that river ever flowing, i am certain that God is set to supersede the present and do endless wonders in your life.”

Bishop Oyedepo Reveals The One Important Key To Blessings

While preaching recently, the founder of Living Faith Ministries, popularly known as Winners Chapel,Bishop David Oyedepo notes that he has been very blessed despite not investing in a business, according to Information Nigeria

He goes on to reveal the secret - being a man of purpose. According to the popular preacher, having purpose leads to accomplishment.

In Bishop Oyedepo’s words, “I have discovered that men who make outstanding impact in their generation are men of purpose. You too must become a man of purpose to become a man of accomplishment. You are not every man, you are just one man. That means one thing is sufficient for you to pursue. So, give it all you’ve got, and you will get all it contains.”

He further explains that being a man of purpose means doing the one thing God has created him to do.

“I am doing only one thing in the world, and that is what He has sent me to do. I have not invested money into any form of business, yet I am blessed as I pursue my goal. Show me a man with a goal and I would show you a goal-getter in the making,” he concludes.

Sharing on Facebook on Sunday, Bishop Oyedepo said in a post titled “Covenant Blessings for this Week”:

“Even the sky is no limit to your glorious destiny in Christ, all you have to do is stay on duty and He will keep changing your position.
Stop waiting at the door for God to bless you, engage in divine instructions.

As you make your choice to serve God, you will enjoy strong and long life in Jesus’ name!
Every air of drought around your life is finally over!
No more droughts in your career and marriage!
Grace to enjoy serving God, receive now in the name of Jesus!
You will not suffer closed heaven anymore!
Your family will not suffer untimely death, you will not bury your children and you will not die young!

“I Had Just ₦63K Before I Bought My House” – Comedian Seyi Law Testifies!

Comedian Seyi Law has shared the testimony of how God helped him purchased a new house even as he shared the pictures of the new property on social media.

Seyi Law took to his Instagram page on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, where he shared photos of his new house. He went on to reveal how he had just N63K in his account just before he bought his house because he had lost a lot of money during his last show.

“God is my rock and my refuge whom shall I fear. Our testimony is huge and no man can share in the glory of what God did, is doing and is going to do. Tears of Joy filled my eyes and my mouth is in awe of God’s faithfulness. All the people and brand that I have worked for seem to have abandoned me this year. I traveled out of Nigeria for my shows, had a great show but lost a lot of money.

“My heart raced, my home was shaky, but I kept faith. I contemplated stopping my shows and selling some of our lands, but you know God reminded me of the word He gave me in November 2017. In May, just about a month to buying this house, I had just N63k in my account, having invested in my shows and by my 35th Birthday on the 22nd June 2018, God did what only him could have done.

“If your heart is in a troubled place, there is a God who is Jehovah Shalom. He knows and if you can trust him, he will do exceedingly and abundantly more than you can ever imagine. Your help is in God and not man, for Him alone can and will speak to the hearts of the men that he has chosen for you. Trust in Him alone. Praise God for me. SEYILAW testifies,” he wrote.

Rev. Yomi Kasali Condemns Comedy Mocking God & Pastors – Alibaba Responds!

– Yomi Kasali condemns comedy mocking God & pastorsThe Senior Pastor of Foundation Of Truth Assembly, Lagos, Reverend Yomi Kasali, has condemned the act by comedians who make jokes ridiculing  pastors.

The man of God, in a video which he shared of himself preaching to a congregation was stern about his stance where comedy and the ministry is concerned and berated other pastors that allows it. He  said the day a Christian laughs at a comedian cracking a joke abusing God or men of God, then such a person is no longer a Christian.

Watch him speak below:

Following Rev. Kasali’s message,  Ace comedian,Alibaba who reacted to Pastor Kasali message agreed with the pastor that God should not be mocked. He also agreed that men of God should not be mocked, however, Alibaba said a man of God who has falling from fate has fallen into the comedians’ net!

Image result for alibaba comedy

“I agree totally. No comedian should do any joke that mocks God. God can not be mocked. Jesus Christ, Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon his name) and the Holy Spirit are also in this exclusive no mock zone. After that, every one else is easy pick. Men of God and Men from God, also can be excluded from the mock zone. But any man of God who has become far from God, has fallen into our hands. Oh by the way… just as jokes are a tool in entertainment and criticism, they were tools back in the days. They are like parables. Jesus used a lot of those parables. If Jesus were in our clime and time, he would have used jokes as well. I hear jokes from @pauladefarasin @tonyrapu #jesseduplanti @Bishoptdjakes #BensonIdahosa @pastorituaighodalo @creflodollar #thePope #CardinalOkojie #PastorEAAdeboye #bishopKuka… these men of God can give any comedian a run for their money. They use humour to get their messages across. In fact, some of the best and cleanest jokes can be gleaned from the pulpit. Because those jokes can be told anywhere. HOWEVER, IF A MAN OF GOD DOESNT HAVE THE ANOINTING OF SENSE OF HUMOUR… IT WILL BE HARD FOR THAT TO BE HIS POINT OF STRENGTH. So, expectedly, he will not see the value in using it or seeing it used. Just as, a pastor who can’t sing may not apply songs to his teachings. Like I said @yomi_kasali has a point. Up to a point. That’s my point.”
